Job Description:

The Healthy Lifestyles Center at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is seeking several interventionists as part of an NIH-funded behavioral weight loss intervention, “The Role of Parents in Adolescent Obesity Treatment”. This position is under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Bean (Principal Investigator). Primary duties include participation in training, intervention delivery according to the operations manual, completion of documentation related to intervention delivery, data collection and entry, attendance at weekly supervision, completion of feedback messages on participants' food logs and other intervention tasks as required by the supervisor according to the study protocol.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position is required to adhere to regulatory and ethics requirements set forth by the Institutional Review Board, and maintain current on CITI training. Candidates must hold a BS/BA and have their master's degree (or be working towards a master's degree) in a clinical / behavioral health field (psychology, social work, dietetics). Experience with behavioral counseling required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pediatric and weight management experience preferred

Salary Range: $20.00
