Job Summary
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
Essential Functions
The incumbent will be trained and help in the execution of experiments related to stem cell culture, organoid generation, PCR, and tissue staining in the lab as well as mouse-related models of injury. In addition to experimental work, the incumbent will help in the daily operation of the lab, and organization associated with lab operation and will also be trained and help in discussions, presentations, writing methods, analysis of data, and participate with PI and graduate students in scientific discussions relevant to the project. It is expected that the candidate provides weekly reports of performance and progress notes with the projects associated with the candidate.
Physical Effort
Position is primarily sedentary but may require incumbent to walk between labs of collaborators.
