A valid Class A or B commercial drivers license with a good driving record
The ability to lodge overnight away from home Monday thru Thursday most weeks

OUR COMPANY:
We are an established, family-owned and operated, municipal road surfacing contractor that has been in business over 50 years. Our work locations include projects throughout Wisconsin and the upper mid-west. From big cities to small towns and locations in between, travel and scenery changes ensure variety to each day. We offer a steady workload of hours – including weekly overtime and federal wage rate pay with experienced crew foremans and loyal, dedicated employees that return each year. Our crews are proud to have employees who travel from all over the state.

Responsibilities:
Not from the DeForest area? No Problem! Your week can start at our DeForest office or a pre-determined location. From there, you will be in company vehicles for the week and staying in a hotel from Monday through Thursday night with your crew. Company includes travel pay into work on Monday morning and your drive back home on Friday at your normal hourly or overtime rate. We offer hands on training from highly skilled employees who have been with us for many years. In addition to driving, thorough cleaning of your truck between loads, efficiently re-loading the truck with materials and the ability to occasionally lift 100 pounds is needed.

COMPENSATION:
Is highly competitive and based on experience. Starting pay is $20/hour and up. We have additional earning opportunities on federally funded projects that are in excess of $50/hour. Weekly overtime of 15+ hours is typical.
