    SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 10am to 6pm, Friday's 9am to 5pm. On call weekends and evenings.
    • Evening or weekend work required for RA programming, training, and staff meetings.
    REMOTE WORK ELIGILITY: Yes, occasional (approximately twice per week depending on volume).

    HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: 35 hours/week and 52 weeks/year

    GENERAL PURPOSE

    The Assistant Director of Residence Life is responsible for the day-to-day operations and facilities management of Molloy University's three residence halls including housing selection and assignments, maintaining the housing database (ERezlife), Molloy Family Hub (CampusESP), student engagement platform (Anthology Engage), and student conduct software (Maxient). This position is also the primary liaison with Facilities and Campus Services ensuring a seamless experience for all students. The Assistant Director also serves as an on-call administrator for the residence halls, co-supervises the RA staff.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Co-supervises RA staffs and manages all housing selection processes and room assignment, ERezlife, resident conduct system (Maxient), student engagement platform (Anthology Engage) and Molloy Family Hub (CampusESP)This position is responsible for maintaining up-to-date information on the Molloy website and ensures communication with various campus entities including Admissions, Campus Services, and Communications and Marketing. Will manage the livingatmolloy social media calendar.
    • The Assistant Director will serve as the liaison between Residence Life and Facilities and work to manage work order submissions and follow up, will manage MicroFridge delivery and other vendor deliveries to the residence halls. Will coordinate all work orders, room reservations, orders for department. The Assistant Director coordinates advertising and communication of essential housing information and policies to campus stakeholders via multiple platforms (website, email, etc.).
    • Serves as administrator on call when there are students on campus and respond to emergencies as needed after hours and on weekends. Coordinates summer housing and conference groups utilizing the residence halls.
    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Master's degree (Higher Education, or related field)
    • 3 to 5 years of work-related experience (must have at least three years of residence life experience)

    SALARY INFORMATION

    When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $48,000 - $52,000 and includes housing. This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
