Mathematics/Statistics Adjunct Faculty Pool
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at James Madison University is seeking highly motivated individuals to join the unit as part-time instructors to teach a variety of mathematics and statistics courses, starting August 2021. The department includes approximately 50 full-time faculty and offers Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Statistics. All application materials must be submitted through JobLink. Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidates may teach synchronous online or face-to-face courses in the following areas, including but not limited to: statistical literacy, introduction to statistics, college algebra, business calculus, and calculus.
Available sections to teach during fall and spring semesters will vary based on enrollment needs.
Qualifications:
Required: An earned doctorate in mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or a Master's Degree with at least 18 hours in relevant graduate coursework.
