General Manager
We are looking for someone to fill our Joint Manager position! This role requires a minimum of 50 hours per week, plus Holidays, weekends and some nights. We are normally open from 11am-2am everyday, but our Covid hours are 11am-12am everyday until the state starts rolling back the alcohol curfew. Our ideal candidate must enjoy interacting with guests and staff in a fast pace, high volume environment. We are looking for an energetic, positive team player who is self motivated and has experience managing people in a restaurant setting. Craft beer knowledge is a plus but not a must. We will require you to get Cicerone certified as well as ServSafe Manager certified upon employment. Listed Below is a brief description of responsibilities:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures
- End of Week and Month financial paperwork
- Invoice approval
- P&L responsibility, reconciliation and analysis
- Payroll verification and processing
- Ordering and receiving verification
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Interview and hire team members
- Maintain proper staffing levels
- Conduct effective new employee orientations
- Satisfactorily complete employee paperwork (data entry, I-9, etc.)
- Employ effective employee discipline and terminations
- Harassment and Worker’s Compensation training and investigations
OPERATIONS
- Effectively manage labor and food costs
- Ensure proper kitchen procedures and food standards
- Maintain ABC compliance and beer knowledge
- Training approval of all employees and managers
- Approval of all R&M work
- Preventative maintenance of equipment, facilities and grounds
- Ensure effective social media and other marketing campaigns
- Maintain effective and professional relationship with vendors
This is a salary position with 2 weeks paid vacation and health insurance benefits.
