Gannett’s DMS Marketing team is looking for an experienced product marketing manager who can lead strategy and execution, shaping product and feature launches, delivering competitive analysis, messaging strategy, go-to-market planning, execution and measurement. Reporting into the Senior Director of Brand and Product Marketing, you’ll design effective go-to-market plans along with the required positioning and messaging, as well as building rapport and developing strong business relationships with cross-functional teams to accelerate growth and adoption. The right person for the role has an insatiable curiosity, experienced in working in sync with product and sales leaders to analyze relevant information and make informed decisions to drive business results.
What we're looking for...
- A marketing professional with 5 or more years of general marketing experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on B2B product marketing.
- Experience leading the translation of brand strategy into consumer product marketing deliverables such as positioning, messaging and go-to-market.
- Proven results in messaging development and creating product narratives through excellent copywriting and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand competitive products in the market and what motivates customers to purchase.
- Develop and deliver a differentiated positioning that will drive acquisition and adoption of LIQ products.
- Well-crafted process/methodology for analyzing and synthetizing data and insights from a number of inputs, producing relevant information to guide informed decisions.
- Ability to influence and recognize relatable themes and storyline about our products, the user problems we’re seeking to solve, and the industry and technology trends that we’re building upon.
- Passion about digital marketing, SMBs and the problems we are solving for them.
- Extremely well-organized, detail-oriented, eager to identify and apply new tactics and have a “can-do” approach. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, enthusiastic, resourceful, and efficient.
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, business, or a relevant field

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $120,750. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
