The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is searching for an outstanding full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible fellowship trained Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon (Urogynecologist) to join the Division of Urogynecology.

EVMS, founded by a grassroots effort by the local community, has provided education in medicine, biomedical sciences and other health professions in southeastern Virginia since 1973. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is one of the largest departments of EVMS. The Urogynecology Division consists of 2 fellowship trained urogynecologists and a nurse practitioner, who practice advanced female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

Located in a historic region, Hampton Roads includes the cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton and Newport News. This family-friendly area ranks as one of the top places in the country in which to live.

The candidate will be actively involved with the Urogynecology program at our Virginia Beach and Norfolk offices. Experience with robotic and laparoscopic procedures are required.

Both academic appointment and salary are commensurate with qualifications and are highly competitive on a regional and national level.
