Sales Account Manager
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing a group of customer
accounts within the Midwest market. This position cultivates business-to-business service
relationship with customers and works with internal operations and customer service to
understand and respond to customer needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish professional relations with existing and potential customers by meeting with contacts in person or by phone to best deliver quality and value to our service/products.
• Understand all aspects of products and services, including packaging in nailed wood, plywood and plastics, and utilize company pricing and profitability models.
• Identify opportunities to increase or improve products/services to existing customers and
for account retention.
• Review customer pricing structures for products and accounts (new and existing) and negotiates terms and agreements for the account.
• Interface with division management, customer service, and sales team to address and develop product/service solutions.
• Prepare and submit reports on customer activity and customer meetings to document history on account and communicate to others within the sales and operations team.
• Develop sales and account actions that support both personal and company goals and communicate results periodically.
• Travel-60% inside the defined territory with periodic overnight travel required.
• Other duties as assigned and required.
Education/Experience
• 5-years of business-to-business sales or customer service
• Experience in industrial sales preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in business or sales management or equivalent experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and selling and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills
• Demonstrated sales results
